The first a part of a collection on milling my very own AR-15 receiver from a billet of aluminum. I designed the receiver in Alibre Design and am utilizing S-Carve Pro and Deskproto for the CAM.

The mill is a transformed Seig X3 with a CNCFusion ball screw package.

The device used on this video is from Maritools and is a 3/8″ 3 flute roughing finish mill. It works nice within the X3.

This video is a bit boring because it’s principally the machine doing it is factor. I attempt to perform a little extra modifying within the comply with on movies and have extra description, and fewer machining.
